Ms. Weil completed her undergraduate studies in 1977, graduating magna cum laude with her Bachelor of Arts degree from Williams College. She went on to attend the New York University School of Law, where her academic prowess was evident through her accumulation of numerous accolades, including being the recipient of the Anne Petluck Poses Prize in clinical education and her induction into the Order of the Coif. She received her Juris Doctor cum laude in 1980, was admitted to the Bar in the State of New York shortly thereafter, and has practiced law continually since that time.
A litigator for much of her career, Ms. Weil is admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York and the United States Court of Appeals for the 2nd Circuit. She has been chosen as one of New York Metro Super Lawyers and has been consistently peer-review rated AV Preeminent* through Martindale-Hubbell since 1990.
